Wikileaks, the site that recently laid bare hundreds of thousands of private cables between U.S. State Department diplomats and foreign embassies, has reportedly begun using Amazon's cloud computing services to help keep its head above water. A hacker claiming patriotic motivations put Wikileaks in the crosshairs of a distributed denial of service attack following the release of "Cablegate."
